〉Personal preferences probably trumps all though. I have steel on 4/5 of my boards. The 5th is aluminum. Steel is nice and solid and it gives the board a really nice heft. However, if you want a board to be quieter, use Polycarb/Acrylic. Itll absorb more sound as compared to aluminum and steel, which reverberate it.
